The March of the Teddy Bears

429 children have beeb killed in the war in the Ukraine.  Each child is represented by a Teddy Bear around our altar in St. Anthony’s this Christmas.

This time last year these children smiled and laughed, looked forward to a happy time and a fulfilled life.

We can’t forget them.  Ireland has welcomed 60,000 Ukrainians and there are some living in our community.  If you wish, take a Teddy after Mass on Sunday 1st January as a permanent reminder of the Massacre of the Innocents.
