Safeguarding

Policy Statement

We in the Parish of St. Anthony, Clontarf, value and encourage the participation of children and young people in parish liturgies and in activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional and social development.  We recognise their dignity and rights and are committed to supporting and protecting them.

In keeping with this we will work to do all in our power to create safe environments for children and young people in order to secure their protection and enable their full participation in the life of the Church.

” ….Jesus called the children to Him and said,  ‘Let the little children come to me and do not stop them;  For it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs’.”  (St Mark 10:14)
