Eucharistic Ministers

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Ministers of the Eucharist are called to serve the very life of the church by supporting the priests to administer the sacrament of Holy Eucharist to their fellow parishioners at daily and weekend Masses.

Eucharist Ministers also take the Eucharist to patients and residents in the various Nursing Homes, providing them with Spiritual nourishment with the mystery that makes us one.  In this way they enable the residents to maintain a vital link with the Parish community.

A number of Ministers take the Blessed Sacrament to people at home or in care or who are housebound.

There is a total of 45 Ministers working in the parish.
